YACG 2.0 released by Busin3ss

Filed under: General — Dink @ 1:20 pm

The long awaited release of YACG 2.0 has happened.

Go here to get the download link and read a little about the new YACG release. He sounds a little excited. Don’t blame him at all.

From spam2.0 “YACG is a free script designed to build massive amounts of web pages… Each page containing different content and ready to be monetized.”

Yep. It’s a keeper. A blackhat marketer’s dream. The rework from 1.9 is substantial. And, includes some very cool features.

If you don’t have it, you should. When you go to the link to download YACG, you’ll see a note that you must register to participate. Tell him that Dink sent you.

Hmmmm. Maybe I should do an article on content generators.

THE MALTESE BLACKHAT a novel

Filed under: Just for Fun — Dink @ 12:49 am

The foreword and introduction to The Maltese Blackhat are live now.

Chapter 1 is complete except for final editing. Chapters 2 and 3 are in rough draft form and should be coming along soon.

I hope you enjoy my ‘retro detective’ bumbling around in a future time. It’s fun thinking of what might be like.

Blackhat supplemental hell

Filed under: Blackhat — Dink @ 1:18 am

Wooo. Sounds pretty bad to me. Lots of folks will tell you that blackhats are in hell already. But, supplemental hell? Surely not.

I was tooling around one of my favorite fora when I happened upon an interesting discussion between a few blackhat newbs. Seems the plaintiff was complaining of too many pages in the sup listings over at Google. I shot my mouth off there, so I might as well do it here. (more…)

P M Spade Private Blackhat

Filed under: Just for Fun — Dink @ 2:12 am

Prologue:

This story is dedicated to m1t0s1s, for reminding me, and to all of you, no matter what color hat you wear. All of us have a tendency toward ADD now and then. Attention Deficit Disorder.

Some of us have it more often, and the effects are more intense, than others. When I was young it was called daydreaming. I did that a lot. Still do.

So, what does ADD and daydreaming have to do with a blackhat story? You’ll see. At the end. (more…)

Blogger survives haxors and lives to tell all

Filed under: General — Dink @ 12:23 pm

Heh. That headline ought to get the attention of the technorati crowd.

Yep. It’s true. Esrun has done it again. Not only survived the ddos attack, and the hack job, but his blog is back up and looking good.

Long time readers will know that I’m particularly fond of the coding skills that Esrun has. He has a way of making a concept come together the right way.

Perhaps his most devious blackhat script was the first one I saw (and used). DITY. It sounds simple, but has been hacked and modified several times. It works well.

Looking forward to whatever comes next. Welcome back Esrun.

Semi annual link cleaning

Filed under: General — Dink @ 1:14 am

It’s time to clean up my blogroll. Some old ones to remove. Some new ones to post.

Time to review why I like to visit some of these sites, and why not some of the others.

It’s also a good time to introduce some new ones I have found. (more…)

My Ten Commandments of BlackHat Marketing

Filed under: Blackhat — Dink @ 12:37 am

Nope, I didn’t say Black Hat SEO. I said BlackHat Marketing.

I believe that blackhat SEO has now gone mainstream. I’ll go into that a little deeper in a later post.

Now, BlackHat Marketing…it’s just getting going good.

So I present my Ten Commandments of BlackHat Marketing. Not quite the same as those delivered by Moses Not quite the same author either. (more…)

Do you have a honey pot?

Filed under: General — Dink @ 12:43 am

I do. You’re reading it now. LOL

I didn’t intend for it to be a target of spammers. It just sorta happened.

Seems like this Eastern European dude is running a powerful automatic comment spamming script. It’s been aimed at this blog for about three months now.

I get about 25-30 comment spam attempts every day. He doesn’t realize that I’m onto him tho. It is interesting to see what he is up to.

A new one started probing last week. He posted comments to two posts each day for five days then quit. After a three day hiatus, he tried a manual post without a target link. I suppose he is trying to see if I have the Akismet plugin.

Now why in the world would a spammer try to spam a spammer? ROFLMAO

Exit the time thief

Filed under: General — Dink @ 1:59 am

I came to the realization that I have fallen into the trap.

No, not the one where you have to chew your own arm off. I’m talking about the time thief trap.

You know them. Forums and blogs. Specifically other peoples forums and blogs. (more…)
