Affiliates beware…the Blackhats is coming.

“All your traffic are belong to…….. me!”

It shouldn’t be a big surprise to anyone that Blackhat SEO’s are involved in affiliate marketing. They’ve been doing just that for a long while.

What might surprise you is the fact that there are about to be a lot more BH affiliate sites on the web. I mean, a whole lot more.

I lay all of the blame right at the feet of the search engines. Google, first and foremost.

For quite a while now the Blackhat community has been focused on creating MFA (Made for Adsense) sites. I’m sure you’ve seen your share of them, they’re everywhere. For just about any keyword combination you’ll find the MFA’s.

There is good reason for that.

  • First, it’s easy to get an adsense account.
  • Second, it doesn’t require a lot of work to find paying advertising if you use adsense. It’s all done for you.
  • Third, it’s absurdly easy to acquire a list of keywords for any given topic.
  • Fourth, autogenerated sites fit in with the whole ‘easy’ theme.
  • Fifth, automated blogging, pinging, and other link building techniques are available everywhere.

I could go, but there is no point in boring you more than necessary.

So, you ask, what’s changed that makes you think the BH’s are going to move away from this ‘easy’ method of making cash?

Google has changed. All around the BH circuit you hear horror stories about their adsense account being removed.

Not talking about their site being banned. They are used to that and have others ready to replace one that has been dropped from the index.

I’m talking..”we are sorry to inform you that your adsense account has been suspended…”

So, now what? Most of the easy money earning potential has been removed.

Do they try YPN? Some have and report that it sucks.

Do they try Text Link Ads? Not hardly. You have to have a site that stays in the index long enough to get at least PR4.

So, what’s an honest Blackhat to do? Affiliate marketing is ready made for them. They can use the same keywords and software to make the sites. They can use the same linking techniques to get the pages indexed highly.

And, to top off the cake, they can make substantially more profit from a good affiliate program. Dollars per click instead of cents. That’s some icing.

So, as more and more of the pro Blackhat marketers get banned by adsense, and tell about it in blogs and on forums, the more BH affiliate sites you will see in the top serps.

Fledgling Blackhatters will read the blogs and forums too. A natural progression. ‘The big boys are doing it this way. So will I’. I don’t think it will be a linear progression either. More times two. More times two squared.

Affiliates get ready. The rivulet of BH affiliates is going to swell to a raging river. Make your plans before you are swept away.

Your site is also very interesting, very calming effect just reading it. Will spend more time with certain areas. Well done and good luck with your work.

I’m still making some change from adsense, but I took the jump into affiliate (if not to line my pockets, but to teach me something new).

    Cheers ;)

Learning is fine, taky. Cash is better. The affiliate world is much more stable (long-term) than adsense.
