For me it was simply that I didn't need a PR3 link from a site with a low (sub 100,000) Alexa rank badly enough to bother scripting a tool to build blogs on some crappy host I'd never heard of. Too much time involved for too little return. Don't get discouraged though man. I read your blog every day, and I've found some nice nuggets here. I just wasn't interested in this contest.
